Fort Automotive Group of Oakbrook Terrace, Ailing., made its first acquisition of 2023 with the acquisition of three dealerships in Chicago’s western suburbs.
Fort Automotive on Thursday purchased Pugi Auto Group, consisting of Pugi Volkswagen, Pugi Mazda and Pugi Hyundai-Genesis of Downers Grove, all in Downers Grove, Ailing., southwest of Chicago, from seller Dominic Pugliani.
The dealerships have been renamed Fort Volkswagen Downers Grove, Fort Mazda Downers Grove and Fort Hyundai Downers Grove-Genesis of Downers Grove. The Hyundai and Genesis manufacturers at the moment are housed in a single constructing, however Fort Automotive is setting up a standalone Genesis facility, stated Andrew Dorgan, the group’s director of company improvement.
