Thrissur: The Nationwide Investigation Company (NIA) has initiated investigation towards a CPM chief who allegedly assisted the accused in a crypto-currency fraud case to flee the nation. The younger CPM chief is an space committee member and a former elected consultant of a neighborhood physique in Thrissur.
As per the report, the CPM chief helped the Wayanad native, accused of embezzling Rs 50 crores in a crypto-currency fraud case, evade the regulation enforcement businesses and transfer overseas with the assistance of a senior cop named within the Monson Mavunkal Case.
